Shipping policy

We always do our best to accommodate our customer's delivery needs. However, we are not always able to guarantee delivery at a specific time of day, especially during busy holiday periods. To request a specific delivery time, please call us directly.

Monday to Friday orders received before 11am will be delivered same day to Griffith, Yoogali, Yenda, Tharbogang, Beelbangera, Bilbul, Hanwood. We cannot deliver to Leeton, Yanco, Wamoon, Stanbridge, Murrami, Corbie Hill, Merungle Hill, Narrandera, Gogeldrie and Whitton. We strive to deliver same day deliveries between 10:00am - 6:00pm but may deliver earlier or later during busy periods. For Saturday deliveries please call directly.

Deliveries to Goolgowi, Merriwagga, Carrathool, Hay, Hillston, Lake Cargelligo, Binya, Rankin Springs, Ardlethan, Darlington Point and Coleambally requires 24hr notice and can only be delivered Monday to Friday. We cannot guarantee any specific times slots in these areas. Please be aware some of these rural deliveries may not be made to their actual address and may be delivered to a Post Office/General Store for collection. The recipient will be called prior to delivery to confirm collection time and location.

Only products from Griffith Gift Lab will be delivered Australia Wide. If you select fresh flowers, plants or perishable items which cannot be posted we will contact you to refund or organise an alternate product which can be delivered by a local florist if the order is outside our local delivery range. We cannot deliver fresh flowers to Leeton NSW but can deliver gifts from Griffith Gift Lab for next day delivery Monday - Friday. 

Please be aware that we may call the recipient prior to delivery to ensure it can be accepted, especially during inclement weather. We may also call if the delivery distance/time exceeds our typical range.

Secondary Deliveries based on incorrect address may incur an additional delivery charge if our initial attempt is unsuccessful.

In situations where a recipient is not at home to accept your gift, our couriers will leave the item in a secure location if available at the delivery address.
Where a secure location cannot be identified (locked entrance, pets etc) our couriers will either;
- Leave a “not at home” card in the letterbox/under the front door of the delivery address advising your recipient to contact Starfish Florist and the item will be returned to our Shop.
- Call the recipient to schedule an appropriate delivery time.
-Leave the gift bouquet with a neighbour and place a message on the recipient's door with this information.

Delivering to Hospitals or Corporations
We will send your gift bouquet in accordance with facility procedures, as most hospitals/Organisations do not allow florists to personally deliver to individual rooms/offices. Please note that many ICU patients are not permitted to receive flowers. Please check with the hospital before placing your order.

Substitution Policy
Occasionally, substitutions of flowers or containers are necessary due to temporary, regional or seasonal availability issues. If this is the case with the gift you've selected, we will ensure that the style, theme and colour scheme of your arrangement is preserved and will only substitute items of equal or higher value.

You must be 18 years or older to purchase any alcoholic products from Starfish Florist. If you are purchasing an alcoholic product, you warrant to Starfish Florist that you are 18 years or older and that the recipient of the product is 18 years or older. Starfish Florist will not be liable if any underage person purchases or receives an alcoholic product.
